Policy and Research Manager

Location: London/Europe

Salary: £40,000 – £50,000

Type of Position: 1 year fixed term contract

 

The Role

The WorldGBC is seeking a dedicated Advocacy and Engagement Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is critical in shaping and advancing our global advocacy efforts, influencing policy, and supporting our network of national Green Building Councils (GBCs) in their advocacy work. The successful candidate will be instrumental in developing policy positions, conducting research, and engaging with key stakeholders to promote sustainable building practices and policies worldwide. The Advocacy and Engagement Manger will report to and work closely with the Global Advocacy Director.

Senior Copywriter

Location: UK/Europe

Work Type: Remote/ Hybrid

Salary: £40,000 — £50,000 per annum

Type of position: Full Time, maternity cover |  May 2024 — February 2025

 

The Role

WorldGBC positions the built environment as a critical sustainability solution to advance the UN Global Goals for Sustainable Development (SDGs). Increasingly, our work is permeating public discourse and entering global action agendas at the highest level.

The role of the Senior Copywriter is to leverage the work of WorldGBC and our network through creative, written content spanning press releases, website articles, social media and event briefs/scripts etc. The Senior Copywriter will also be responsible for supporting WorldGBC’s Creative Content Lead with strategic reviews and sign-offs. They will be part of a team of four communications professionals, reporting to the Creative Content Lead, and will support the content needs of various departments across the organisation.

The chosen candidate must be an exceptional writer, with the ability to use curiosity, collaboration, and both conceptual and hands-on skills to deliver creative solutions.

Partner Engagement Lead

Location: UK/Europe

Work Type: Remote/ Hybrid

Salary: Up to £60,000

Type of Position: Full-time, one year contract

 

The role

The Partner Engagement Lead is responsible for key account management, and specifically developing and supporting relationships with programme sponsors and partners within the WorldGBC network.

The Partner Engagement Lead will work closely alongside the programme/projects team subject leads, taking responsibility for day to day management of activities that relate to sponsors or stakeholders, including partner relationships, external collaborations and fundraising.

Working cross-functionally within a matrix-style organisation, the Lead will work collaboratively on the engagement pillar of WorldGBC’s fundraising team alongside the Partnerships Manager and the Strategic Partnerships Lead. This team coordinates closely with all WorldGBC departments, in particular where sponsors are involved with initial focus on the programme/project partners.

Well-organised and a great communicator, this individual will ensure that key relationships are managed effectively across the organisation, and be detail oriented in their reporting and accounting of opportunities. The Lead should also be willing to represent the organisation in relevant external opportunities relating to the programmes as need arises – including fundraising meetings, external working groups, events or conferences.

The Partner Engagement Lead will report to the Director of Programmes Strategy.
